Tree Planting Project

A major initiative to restore and expand the green canopy along one of Zamalek’s most important thoroughfares. Working with the local governorate, we are planting over 50 mature trees selected for their resilience to Cairo’s climate and their aesthetic contribution to the streetscape.

Tree Hedge Initiative

Installation of a continuous green hedge along Mohamed Anis Street, providing visual screening, noise reduction, and habitat for local bird species.

Tree Spraying Initiative

Ongoing campaign. Started in September of 2024, many large mature trees in Zamalek are badly infected with mealyworm sickness (which causes leaves to fall and leaves a white, sticky residue on trees).
